The Gospel According to John Grisham

Best-selling author John Grisham addressed his fellow Baptists Thursday at the Celebration of a New Baptist Covenant, an Atlanta meeting that brought together Baptists across racial, geographical and theological lines, and gave them his advice on ways to disarm critics of their faith group.

Number One: Respect diversity

"Who are we kidding when we try to exclude?" he asked. "God made all of us, he loves all of us equally and he expects us to love and respect each other without regard to race, gender, sexual orientation, biblical interpretation, denominations or other religions."

Number Two: Stay out of politics

"When the church gets involved in politics, it alienates many of the very people it is supposed to serve .... It causes hatred and it drives people away from the church and for this, these political Christians will pay a price."

Number Three: Spend as much time on the streets as in the church

"Jesus preached more and taught more about helping the poor and the sick and the hungry than he did about heaven and hell. Shouldn’t that tell us something?"

John,

How do you see this?

Is the breath of life that was given to Adam at his Creation the same breath every person borne on earth receives?
And if this is true then everybody receives eternal life at birth.
What do you believe?
Is every one created equal or is the Creator unfair in his giving of life?

Looking at Eve's deception in the Garden of Eden although she loved Adam, she gave him some of the forbidden fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and in her error of understanding, she killed her husband by the spoken word of his own Creator.

How?
She killed him by the word of his own Creator in this way.
The Creator’s said: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. (This means you may do anything). But as for the tree of the knowledge of a good and evil you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.” And because the Creator cannot tell a lie, his word is against all flesh and must put them to death, as long as they keep taking in the knowledge of a good God and an evil Devil.

In like manner to Adam’s creation; we are all of us created in the belly, and then receive the Creator's breath of life at our birth, and then someone although loving us very mush and assuming they are doing a sacred service to the good God by gathering us up and feeding us of the Serpent's lie about what will happen if we take into ourselves (eat), of the many branches (religions), of the tree of the knowledge of a good God and an evil Devil, killing us by our own Creator's word.

SO THEN!
When they come unto us carrying food from the many branches of religions teaching the knowledge of good and evil, would you say they are from the Serpent whose tongue is divided into good on one side and bad on the other side, broad and spacious is these roads leading off into destruction?
Or the one and only straight and narrow road of our Creator, that leads to eternal life?

What do you think?
Is this what is meant by the saying: “You must be borne again”?
