Let's get it right, Kevin, since you dubbed this "the big one" for the United Methodists. The move for divestment doesn't apply to "companies operating in Israel", but rather to companies that support and benefit from Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories, which is illegal under international law. You started to get closer to the truth when you said that "Caterpillar uses its bulldozers to tear down Palestinian homes in the West Bank," but it's not Caterpillar that does that, but rather the Israeli government, using Caterpillar equipment.
